high-performance picture processing has been further optimised for use in Metz LCD TVs with LED technology. The result

Premium picture quality

Innovative LED technology opens up a new dimension in

television. The stellar picture quality, which Metz LCD TVs

deliver via tried-and-tested CCFL technology, is further op-

timised. This means that colours are more realistic, with

greater richness; contrast is improved and depth of ﬁ eld

enhanced.

Edge LED:

Depending on screen size, Metz LCD TVs with LED technol-

ogy have individually dimmable light zones. This allows

greater contrast in comparison to traditional LCD TVs.

Direct LED with Local Area Dimming:

With the help of local area dimming, light zones covering

the entire screen can be dimmed or brightened automati-

cally and independently of each other to complement the

picture on the screen. The result – greater contrast and a

signiﬁ cantly improved display in darker areas.
